Klubb to launch highest van mount at MATEXPO
07 September 2021
France-based Klubb is to launch its highest ever van mounted platform at this year’s MATEXPO construction equipment exhibition in Belgium.
Described as the highest van mount on the market, the KT18PZ is mounted on a 5 tonne Mercedes Sprinter and has a working height of 19m with an outreach of 9.40m.
According to the aerial platform specialist, which recently achieved its ISO environmental certification, the new model is designed to provide utility sector companies with a “height performing platform on a compact van with a good payload for storage”.
Julien Bourrellis, president of Klubb Group, said, “It’s a great pleasure to launch this innovative platform on the market, we have designed it in order to fit closely with the utilities companies requests and to combine safety, technical performance and ease of use”.
The KT18PZ will be revealed to the public for the first time at MATEXPO by Klubb’s official dealer for Flemish Belgium, Maes.
The third largest trade fair in Europe, MATEXPO is a biennial event that attracts around 40,000 construction industry visitors and 370 exhibitors.
This year’s event - the 39th edition of the show - will take place in Kortrijk, which is located west of Brussels, from 8 to 12 September.
The KT18PZ Sprinter 5T model will be on display at the Maes stand (#B57) in the Kortrijk Xpo event venue, for the duration of the construction equipment exhibiton.
Jan Maes, managing director of specialist access equipment rental company Maes, said, “We are really proud to be the first Klubb dealer to provide the KT18PZ. We are convinced this machine will be very popular with our customers and we will actively promote it.”
