Eiffage Énergie Systèmes (ES), through its majority-owned Dutch subsidiary Eiffage Energiesystemen, said it acquired EKB and obtained a majority stake of Rensen Regeltechniek, both Netherlands-based automation system companies.

A value for the purchases was not available.

EKB was acquired in full on 15 July, Eiffage ES said. The company specialises in design, installation, and maintenance of industrial automation systems and generated revenue of €35.5 million (US$39 million) in 2023. The transaction is subject to approval by Dutch authorities.

Eiffage ES said a 70% stake in Rensen Regeltechniek was purchased in April. In addition to the services EKB provides, the company also specialises in building automation systems. Last year, the company generated revenue of €15.5 million ($16 million).

“With these two acquisitions, Eiffage Énergie Systèmes consolidates its electrical and information technology expertise in the Netherlands, which is crucial to meeting growing demand driven by the energy transition, and also enhances its ability to offer digital solutions to support its customers’ industrial processes,” said Eiffage ES.
